Yes, you can install it unless otherwise mentioned. Please note that you might need to disable/decode original electric damping adjustment to avoid error codes.
Our store is located in Vantaa, Finland, and we mainly serve by appointment. We recommend contacting our customer service in advance so we can make sure your desired product is in stock and you receive the best possible service.
Damping is adjusted via the knob on top of the shock absorber. Turn the knob clockwise (downwards) for stiffer and counter-clockwise for softer. We recommend starting around the middle of the adjustment range and fine-tuning from there to match your preference.
The easiest way to check the bolt pattern is to look at the top of the original shock absorber before installation. If you cannot check it yourself, contact our customer service — we'll help you choose the correct option based on your vehicle details.
The number refers to the diameter of the front shock absorber tube. The easiest way to determine the correct size is to measure the tube on the original shock absorber. If you are unsure, send us your registration number or VIN and we'll verify the correct size for you.
Please contact our customer service. If the kit was originally imported by BC Racing Finland, we can issue a replacement certificate on a case-by-case basis.
Yes. The coilovers are adjustable over a wide range, so you can keep the vehicle at stock height if desired. Some car models may require additional fine-tuning, but it is almost always possible.
BC Racing coilovers are usually significantly stiffer than stock springs, but the BR series is designed to combine a sporty feel with reasonable comfort for street use. Exact spring rates can be found on the product pages.
BC Racing offers pre-selected spring rates for normal use. If your vehicle is exceptionally heavy or light, customized spring options are available — contact customer service for a recommendation.
The Extreme Drop series typically lowers the vehicle 20–30 mm more than the standard BC Racing set. The exact amount depends on the car model.
Lowering depends on the car model, but is typically about 30–60 mm compared to stock ride height. The adjustment range also allows stock ride height in most cases.
